Polyibadan ASCOM Press Inaugurates New Press Board

Ibadan.

 Nothing lasts forever; everything is meant to fade and be substituted as the earth rotates on its axis.

Furthering the betterment of the department to a certain and great extent, the 2020/21 ASCOM PRESS Board had a meeting in an enclosed Whatsapp group on Thursday, 23rd June 2022, to inaugurate the new Press Board, for the 2021/2022 academic session, the Era of Accelerated Development. 

Present at the meeting were the ASCOM Press Editor-in-Chief, Bolaji Olanrewaju, the Deputy Editor, Ameenat Hamzat, the newly inaugurated president,  Comrade Azeez Kehinde, and 5 others. 

The meeting stationed and rationale on how the newly inaugurated ASCOM executives would work together with ASCOM Press for positive changes, also, as the need for the Press incentively.

Below is the list of the new ASCOM PRESS Board;

 Akintunde Elijah Olanrewaju as the Editor-in-Chief (EIC)

- - - Adebayo Olaide Mariam as the Deputy Editor

- Olatunji Akanbi Yusuf as the PRESS Secretary

- - - Adetunji Joshua Iyanuoluwa as Press PRO

- - - Tijani Yesurat Odunayo as Production Manager

- - - Abobade Esther Olajumoke as the Asst. Production Manager

- Shittu Ameedat Opeyemi as the Protocol 1


- - - Ike onyinyechi joy as the PROTOCOL OFFICER 2

Afterward, Azeez Kehinde showed excitement by congratulating the new pressboard.

"Firstly let me appreciate and give kudos to Comr. Olanrewaju Bolaji and Comr. Ameenat Hamzat for your great work for making our department a better one among all."

"Also I’m using this opportunity to congratulate our new comrades, I pray God will help us all to make our dearest department a better one during this administration. God bless ASCOM" he said. 

 Akintunde Elijah, the new E-I-C, showed his heartfelt feelings, he wholeheartedly appreciated and honored his appointment with a word of appreciation.

 "First, thanks again for the appointment. 

  I would like to note that it is my utmost desire to see that ASCOM Press goes just beyond covering departmental news, but also the Polytechnic at large. I also hope it would serve as a platform to build the students" Lanre said. 

Ameenat Hamzat then advised the new board; "The task ahead is huge and I hope you guys would do your best not just to post news but to as well make an impact. I wish you guys the best in your endeavors".
