The Association of Student Communicators yesterday bagged a sponsorship deal for her football team with Lync Phone and Gadgets Limited, Ibadan.
The new sponsorship facilitated by the Azeez Kehinde-led era of Accelerated Development took place at the company's Head Office at Shaki Garage, Sango, Ibadan. It is worth noting however that the sponsorship comes as a fulfillment of one of the administration's promises to create proper networking opportunities for the students.
According to the President, Comrade Azeez Kehinde this sponsorship would afford students interested in sporting activities, especially Football the opportunity to showcase their talents effectively.
Additionally, the CEO of LYNC Phone and Gadgets, Mr. Adeyemo Ibrahim attested to the President's good behavior, while describing it as one of the reasons for his company's sponsorship.
In his statement,
"Kehinde has been a good man and a brother to him since day one and he is ready to support his ambition. Kehinde is not the type of person that will come to him begging for sponsorship, he would have rejected if had done that. He knows Kehinde to be a lover of football among other sports that's why he chooses to sponsor Ascom Football Team, give him full support in other activities, and also encouraged him to keep his good deeds".
To this effect, Mr. Ibrahim donated bibs and also promised to donate Jersey, footballs, and other equipment needed for the improvement of the football team.
