15 Things to note before resuming back to campus

Preparing to resume back to The Polytechnic, Ibadan is an exciting time, and there are many things you can do to make the most of this period an experince to remember. Here are 15 things to consider doing before resuming back to Campus:


1.Research Your Course: Familiarize yourself with the curriculum and requirements for your chosen course or major.

2.Financial Planning: Create a budget and financial plan for your college expenses, including tuition, textbooks, and living costs. Be familiar with the dues ranging from the school fee, Association Due , Faculty due and all other dues as obligatory by the Institution.

3.Set Academic Goals: Set clear academic goals and create a study plan to achieve them. Know your GP and work towards growth.

4.Read and Prepare: If you have a reading list, start reading ahead to get a head start on coursework.

5.Improve Study Skills: Work on improving your study habits and time management skills.

6.Health Check-Up: Visit your doctor for a health check-up and ensure all vaccinations are up-to-date.

7.Mental Health: Prioritize your mental health by learning relaxation techniques and seeking support if needed."POLY IBADAN IS NOT FOR THE WEAK"

8.Internship or Work Experience: If possible, gain relevant work experience or internships in your field of interest. For the SIWES students make good use of  training and exposure and link it up with your academics.

9.Networking: Attend networking events and connect with alumni or professionals in your field.

10.Learn a New Skill: Consider learning a new skill or taking a short course related to your major.

11.Financial Literacy: Learn about personal finance, including budgeting and managing student loans.

12.Read Widely: Read books, articles, and newspapers to expand your knowledge and critical thinking skills.

13.Travel: If possible, take the opportunity to travel and experience new cultures. Find Exposure while on campus, gain the best of nature and the best of academic tours.

14.Personal Goals: Reflect on your personal goals and what you hope to achieve during your time in higher education.

15.Prepare for Exams and test: The most Important of all is to gain academic excellence, Test and Exams are compulsory for academic growth, remember the 5ps to success, Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Perfomance.
