Association of students communicators, The Polytechnic, Ibadan has commenced the official training session for students of the Department.
The Training commenced on Wednesday, at The Polytechnic, Ibadan Primary School, Ibadan.
According to the promise of the Sport Director, Comr. Anibire Uthman during his manifesto where he promised the students an Apex atmosphere of sporting activities from the various aspects of sports.
While speaking with the Press , Comr. Uthman Anibire , expressed his belief in the ability of the students and also explained the benefits of sports on students.
He narrated that keeping fit is a must and he encouraged all Ascomites to Join the Sporting Events of the Department cause its an added advantage for all.
“I want to fulfill the promises i made to Ascomites, i told them I will light the flames of Sport in the department, thats my mission.
“I encourage everyone to join my vision and ride with me , i want to encourage every baller to always come to training, we now have a favorable field that everyone can play”, He said.
He also added that the freshers Vs Stalites match that all have been waiting for will be played this month(November) and a fixed that will be announced soon.
He further added that the training holds on Tuesdays and Fridays every week and the training is open to all Mass Communication Students.
