Association of Students Communicators , The Polytechnic, Ibadan has engaged over 500 students in Jobberman soft skill acquisition.
On Thursday November 9, 2023 Jobberman Soft Skills Acquisition Training was held at the 350 capacity hall.
The training commenced at 12:00PM and ended by 2:00PM. The welcome address was given by the ASCOM president Comrade Adewale Gbolahan Faruq.
The training was conducted by over 4 officials from Jobberman with an apex vision to train students on basic soft skills.
The training aid in knowledge gaining for all students, some specific key points include the used of LinkedIn in the era, tailored Curriculum Vitae (CV), effective communication skills and critical thinking cum problem solving.
Side features includes: Logical games for participants, creative thinking exercise, a short test for all participants which they were graded on spot.
The training was indeed a great one with over 500 students in attendance. Students were also given the opportunities to ask questions and certificates of participation was awarded for students who took the short test.
