JUST IN: FBCS shines at Asiwaju Inter Faculty Speech contest

Representatives for the Faculty of Business & Communication Studies (FBCS) has emerged First at the Asiwaju Inter Faculty speech contest.

The Representatives who were from Mass communication Department, Miss Isola Titilola (HND2) & Mr Akinwale Peter (HND1)

All faculties were represented with 2 participants each and the Assembly hall was set ablaze with apex words from each contestant.


The 5th edition of the program which was held at the Assembly Hall , North Campus on the early hours of Thursday.

ASIWAJU Interfaculty Speech Contest, organized by the JCI TPI Chapter. It was a day dedicated to celebrating the power of words, the art of persuasion, and the spirit of unity among the student body.

As the sun rose higher in the sky, the venue adorned with banners and colorful decorations welcomed participants and spectators alike. Excitement crackled through the crowd, mingling with nervous energy as contestants prepared to take the stage.

At the event, the local organization President JC Akande Moses gave the welcome address where he expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the support given and also the opportunity to lead.

The speech contestants were given 2 rounds to express their point and dish out their knowledge on the given topic.

Gold medal and certificate were awarded by the school Public Relations  Officer, Alhaji Adewole Soladoye to all participants. 

The event was said to be of great significance to all students as all attendees had something educational as a take away.
