The CEO of Primus media Afouda Samuel urges the students of Mass Communication to start creating their platforms and define their Niche in the media industry. He said this during the Association of students'Communicators (ASCOM) orientation/leadership Summit at the Assembly hall of the North Campus, The Polytechnic,Ibadan, led by Comrade Ajayi Sunday Micheal at the early hour of Friday 29th November 2024.
" It's better not to start at all than to start and not be consistent, Consistency is not just in timing, it is also in focus" AFOUDA added.
The event features different sections which encompasses panels section that entails the views of the panelists about the impact of New Media in learning.
Also, speech war between the HND1 and ND1 students, having their representatives, which ND1 gets the crown by defeating the HND 1.
The winning students winning students were awarded scholarships fully funded by the Association of Students ' Communicators (ASCOM), as regards their promises
During his speech the department HOD, Dr. Olusoji Olatunji welcomed the students and advised them to be of good behavior during their stay in the campus and to represent their department well both on the campus and outside the campus.
"More of the entertaining and educating functions are still coming, focus and relax ' said the HOD .
