The Faculty of Business and Communication Studies (FBCS) held its first meeting of the year at the Dean's office on Friday, January 24, 2025. The purpose of this program is to foster a spirit of camaraderie and strength with commitment of both staff and students to the faculty and its Dean, ultimately enhancing academic productivity.
The meeting was organized by the Dean of the faculty, Dr. Omo Kehinde Oluyemisi Faniyi, and coordinated by the faculty officer, Mrs. Abegunde Adebiyi
During the meeting, Dr. Faniyi encouraged the Heads of Departments to promote an atmosphere of love among both teaching and non-teaching staff, emphasizing that "our God is LOVE." She urged them to strengthen the connection between students and staff to achieve academic synergy and peaceful coexistence.
Happened yesterday, the meeting is intended to be a recurring event to help renew and nurture the sense of community within the faculty.
Attending the feast were various department Heads of Departments, Dr. O.S. Olatunji from Mass Communication and Barr. K.A. Oladepo from Local Government & Development Studies, Dr. R. E. Ajibola from Office Technology and Management, Dr. O. O. Oyewo from Public Administration, Dr. A. B. Aremu from Business Administration, Dr. P. O. Ajayi, from Marketing, Mr. F. A. Okegbemi, from Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Dr. O. D. Fadipe from Music Technology.
The event ended with merry and unforgettable memories created by the Dean and the HODs
