Business Administration Students Give Back to the Community, Inspire High School Students

The HND 2 students of the Business Administration Department of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, in collaboration with their department, conducted a community service project at The Polytechnic,High School. This initiative aimed to support high school students and encourage them to remain focused on their education. It reflects the department's commitment to community development and practical leadership training for its students.

During the visit, the HND 2 students distributed a variety of educational materials and essential items to the students of The Polytechnic, High School. The items included school uniforms, sandals, exercise books, school bags, quality pencils, and other stationery. The recipients were visibly excited and expressed their gratitude for the donations, noting that these items would lighten the financial burden on their parents and motivate them to excel in their studies.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Oluwafemi Emmanuel, the program initiator, emphasized that giving back is essential for fostering a sense of responsibility and compassion among students in the Business Administration Department. He encouraged the beneficiaries to make good use of the items and to concentrate on their education, while also assuring the community of the department's ongoing support for educational development.

The event was attended by Dr. Aremu Atinuke, the Head of the Department, who gave the speech and Encouraged the Poly High School Students to remain focus and face their studies along with other staff members. It concluded with expressions of appreciation from the management of Poly High School, who commended the department for its thoughtful gesture.
