In an electrifying friendly encounter, the HND 1 Mass Communication team stunned their senior counterparts, HND 2, with a thrilling 3–2 victory.
The much-anticipated match lived up to expectations, as both teams displayed outstanding energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship. HND 1 took an early lead in the first half, netting two quick goals that demonstrated their hunger, coordination, and attacking precision.
The second half saw HND 1 extend their dominance with a third goal, sending the crowd into wild celebration. However, HND 2 rallied back, capitalizing on a defensive slip and later converting a penalty to narrow the margin. Despite their late surge, the HND 2 side could not overturn the deficit.
The encounter, though friendly, highlighted HND 1’s growing confidence and readiness ahead of the upcoming ASCOM Sports Competition. The spirited display from both sides promises a highly competitive and entertaining season for the department.
