Poly Ibadan Engages Amotekun to Strengthen Security Architecture, Launches War Against Cultism

Ibadan. 

In a bid to strengthen internal security architecture, Management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has engaged operatives of the Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN) popularly known as Amotekun. 

The institution made this move following the reoccurring case of Cult gang clash, shooting resulted to mayhem within the campus of the institution, a case which made the institution to shut down for a week. 

A source who happened to be a student leader in the institution made this information available to the press, maintained that the Rector of the institution, Prof. Kazeem Adebiyi had held a meeting with campus Student leaders across all levels to brief them on the new security framework of the institution which will stand as a lasting solution to her security crisis.

Men of the Amotekun operatives since involvement in the security architecture of the institution had started a thorough stop and search for every students before entering the campus. The force also involves in strategic patrol of all corners of the institution that may serve as abode for criminal minded individuals in the institution.
