ASCOM Press inaugurates new board; Pass baton to Kadelu, Olajugbagbe, others

The 2022/2023 set of ASCOM PRESS has indeed served the ASCOM BODY an informative year with lots of informative and educative content, nevertheless, the baton has to be passed.
On 9th August 2023 the board in a closed WhatsApp group had the inauguration of the new Press Board, for the 2023/2024 academic session, the Era of Improved Legacy.
The meeting had the attendance of the Editor in Chief, Akintunde Elijah Olanrewaju, immediate past President, Comrade Azeez Kehinde, current President, Comrade Adewale Gbolahan, members of newly appointed ASCOM PRESS and other Stakeholders.

While speaking at the event, Mr Elijah Olanrewaju, gave the duties of the ASCOM press and also encouraged the newly inaugurated to continue the good work and enhance the working efficiency of the Press.
“While ASCOM Press is the news platform for the association, its primary assignment is to inform the students, as well as to ensure the promotion of the department's image.”
He also congratulated the newly inaugurated Pressboard,
“Kindly accept my warmest regards and wishes.
I believe that in your hands, ASCOM Press would only grow higher.” he said.
The immediate past president, Comrade Azeez Kehinde spoke on the job well done by the outgoing ASCOM Press and appreciated the efforts made by the team.
“First and Foremost, I will like to Congratulate all the outstanding members of the Ascom Press for the success of their tenure, I wish everyone success in all ramifications. You have done a wonderful job and made us proud during my tenure as ASCOM President.
“To the newly Appointees, I Congratulate you all, I wish you all success administration. I
believe you will raise the bar higher and Higher.” he said.
The newly elected Editor in chief, Kadelu Oluwole, expressed his gratitude and promised to continue the laid down legacy by the outgoing body.
“I appreciate the appointment and I want to express my sincere appreciation to the outgoing board for the outstanding performance”
“I and my team promise to keep the flame alive and move ASCOM PRESS to the next acceleration she deserves,” Oluwole said.
