Muslim communicators forum , The Polytechnic Ibadan has organized an orientation program for the newly admitted student of the mass communication department.
The Event which was hosted at the 350 Capacity behind the conference hall.
Dignitaries, department members & chief guest of the event include Alh Oyekunle Abdhakeem SA to Oyo state house of assembly speaker, Dr Olusoji Olatunji ‘Head of department, Mass communication’ , Mr Olawale Olagoke, The guest lecturer , Alh Engr. Tajudeen Amusat. (The Chief Imam) , The polytechnic Ibadan, Mr Ganiyu ( Math & statistics lecturer).
The president , Mass communication department ,Comr .Adewale Faruq gbolahan and the immediate Past Head of Department, Alh Dr. Adunola Najeemdeen as the Host of the Occasion.
The major objective of the program was to make the student aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rule and regulations of the institute and the right attitude towards academic excellence.
The students were addressed by the chief Imam who lectured on synergistic Unitas and gave them an introduction regarding the academic discipline to involve and learn about the career development process and develop their skills and flag out in good grades.
Following the second lecture which was given by MR Ganiyu, he lectured on how to achieve academic success and advised student to draw personal timetable, choose mentor wisely ,maintain their balance and have positive competition towards academic success.
Other invited dignitaries contributed towards pushing students to pursue what is right and push it positively.
The event was concluded by the vote of thanks from Muslim Communicators forum coordinator , Mr Folarin Sadam and closing remarks by Amir Imran mustapha (Amir sango area council).
