The Polytechnic Ibadan Reaffirms Commitment to Equipping Students With Skills

The Senior Chief Accountant of The Polytechnic Ibadan Mr. Adewale Ogunmola has reaffirmed the institution’s strong commitment to equipping students with relevant technical and technological skills, now more than ever. He made this known during the 40th Convocation Exhibition of the institution.


Mr Adewale noted that deliberate efforts are being made to sharpen the creative and innovative capacities of students, stressing that the Polytechnic places high priority on practical skill development. He also commended the government for its continuous support, stating that students now enjoy improved opportunities and platforms to explore their potentials and succeed across various sectors of the economy.


He further called on students to take full advantage of the institution’s Skills Acquisition Centre. According to him, engaging actively with the centre would help students grow beyond theoretical and conventional practical knowledge, and acquire life changing skills that would remain useful even after their academic pursuits.














The convocation exhibition featured stands from various departments and vocational skills entrepreneurship centre of the institution, showcasing innovative products and reflecting the level of technological advancement and creativity being nurtured within The Polytechnic Ibadan.
