Members of the Association of NorthWest and Central Indigenous Students (ANOWSCIS) converged at the Botanical Garden, University of Ibadan, for a colourful and fun-filled picnic aimed at relaxation and social bonding.
In her welcome address, the Social Director expressed heartfelt appreciation to members and guests for their presence. She noted that the picnic was organized to strengthen relationships among ANOWSCIS members and to promote interaction with other indigenous associations on campus. Reiterating this purpose, the President emphasized the association’s commitment to unity, cultural exchange, and student engagement beyond the classroom.
The afternoon featured a variety of engaging games, including chess, monopoly, whot, and ludo, all set against a backdrop of lively music that added to the cheerful atmosphere. Refreshments were served and thoroughly enjoyed by participants.
