In recognition of his years of academic excellence, administrative competence, and professional distinction, Mr. Adedokun Adeyemi Benjamin has been appointed as the new Deputy Director of the Daily Part-Time Programme at The Polytechnic, Ibadan. Mr. Adedokun is widely regarded as a renowned, outstanding, and decorated lecturer and scholar in the Department of Mass Communication. Over the years, he has made remarkable contributions to the training of students in digital journalism and print journalism, equipping them with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills required in today’s media landscape. Respected for his discipline, mentorship, and engaging teaching style, he has supervised numerous academic projects and guided many students toward successful and impactful careers in the media industry.
In his new capacity as Deputy Director of the Daily Part-Time Programme, he is expected to further strengthen academic coordination, improve administrative efficiency, and enhance the quality of flexible learning opportunities available to working-class students and professionals seeking academic advancement.
