Dr. Najeemdeen Adunola Omotayo has been appointed as the Director of the Continuing Education Centre, CEC, The Polytechnic, Ibadan. The appointment reflects his exemplary leadership, steadfast commitment, and remarkable contributions to academic growth within the institution.
With extensive experience spanning both academic and administrative responsibilities, Dr. Omotayo is well positioned to lead the Continuing Education Centre into a new phase of innovation and sustainable development. Over the years, Dr. Omotayo has built a distinguished record of service that underscores his strong leadership capacity. He previously served as the immediate Deputy Director of the Continuing Education Centre, where he contributed significantly to strengthening academic programmes and improving administrative effectiveness. He also served as Head of the Department of Mass Communication between 2019 to 2023 and is currently the only Chief Lecturer in the department, a role through which he has championed academic excellence, mentored students, and supported the steady advancement of the department.
