Celebrating Salmon Hameedah, an Outstanding Ambassador of ASCOM Press

‎Leadership, kindness, and selfless service are qualities that distinguish outstanding individuals, and SEN. COMR. Salmon Hameedah Ololade embodies these virtues remarkably.

‎Although she is not an official member of ASCOM Press. Hameedah has consistently shown her support for the editorial board. Her willingness to attend meetings, engage with members and stand up to support and represent Ascom Press in any situation at any time and place demonstrates her interest in the growth and success of the Press wing.


Within the Faculty of Business and Communication Studies (FBCS), she currently serves as the Women Leader, a position through which she advocates for students and contributes to the development of the faculty community.

‎Her commitment to leadership extends beyond the faculty level. At the indigenous level, she holds the prestigious title of Miss NAOSS Ogun State, while at the departmental level, she serves as the Public Relations Officer II (PRO II) of the Muslim Communicators Forum (MCF).


Beyond her impressive leadership portfolio, Hameedah is widely admired for her warm personality. She is known for being friendly, approachable, and compassionate. Her ability to show genuine love, care, and concern for those around her has earned her the admiration of colleagues and friends alike.

‎Her dedication to service, coupled with her positive attitude and caring nature, makes her a worthy recipient of this week's Personality of the Week recognition.
