MSSN, Inaugurates New Executives, Advocates Justice

The Muslim Communicators Forum (MCF), of Mass Communication Department, The Polytechnic, Ibadan has recently appointed the newly executives that will lead the Forum for the incoming session. 

A symposium featuring a lecture on justice, and the inauguration of new Executives was held at the 350 Lecture Theatre of the institution.


The Guest Speaker, Engr. Tajudeen Hamzah, the Chief Imam of the institution, in his address, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah over The Polytechnic, Ibadan, and the Department of Mass Communication, while also acknowledging the invited guests in attendance.

Speaking on the theme “Alhadalah – Justice,” he emphasized that Allah commands justice in all human dealings. Quoting from the Holy Quran (Chapter 16, Verse 19), which focused on the importance of fairness, equity, and righteousness in personal and societal affairs


The event transitioned into a formal hand-over ceremony, where the Assistant Ameer of the Sango Area Council officially dissolved the outgoing executives. This was followed by the presentation of certificates to the former office holders in recognition of their service.

In a significant highlight of the event, the Ameer of MSSN, Isiaka, announced the newly appointed Executives, Ustaz Aniibire Abdulazeem Coordinator and current Ameer of the Sango Area Council, Sikirullahi Jellilah General Secretary, Adelowo Mariam Financial Secretary, Bello Fathia Treasurer, Muraina Ibrahim as Public Relations Officer I, among others.

Awards of support were also presented to Shittu Abibat and Akingbade Balikis for their contributions and support.

The event ended with an admonition and closing remarks delivered by Abubakar Abdulameen, who urged the new Executives to uphold justice, responsibility, and dedication in their respective roles.
