The President of the National Association of Osun Students, in his address, outlined the benefits of Student Capturing and registering for NELFUND and stressed the importance of meeting the required criteria. These include the Faculty receipt, Student Union receipt, and Indigenous State receipt. He encouraged members who had not yet applied to do so, noting that proper registration and timely payment of school fees remain essential responsibilities for every bona fide student.

He also reminded members about the value of attending weekly meetings, during which important information is shared, including updates on available scholarship opportunities. Interested students were advised to contact the state WhatsApp group administrators or executive members for further guidance.

To keep the meeting lively, airtime was shared among members through a fastest-fingers activity, followed by a question and answer session where winners had the chance to receive free Indigenous receipts. However, no participant was able to provide the correct answers. A fun and interactive session came afterward, adding colour to the gathering.

In attendance were the SUE Sport Director, the Financial Secretary, presidents of other indigenous associations on campus, as well as faculty and departmental senators and executives, all contributing to the vibrancy of the event.

The National Association of Osun State Students holds its weekly meeting every Tuesday at the Poly Bookshop at 2:00pm.
