In her remarks, Mrs Bolatito Joseph reflected on the journey of the station and commended volunteers, interns, and staff for their contributions. She noted that Reiz FM has produced several talented broadcasters and presenters who have gone on to secure positions in reputable radio stations across the state.

Mrs Joseph also acknowledged the dedication, loyalty, and teamwork of presenters, producers, and other staff members. She expressed appreciation to the management of The Polytechnic Ibadan for their continued support toward the station’s growth. She further expressed appreciation to the Head of the Mass Communication Department, Dr. Olusoji Olatunji, as well as other supporters, for their contributions toward the success of the end-of-year event
Also in her remarks, the Assistant General Manager, Mrs Ishola Bilkis, further encouraged those who had not been very active to put in more effort and continue striving to make a difference, no matter how small.
During the celebration, staff members took turns to share their experiences working at Reiz FM and highlighted the progress they have made. They also expressed gratitude for the GM’s leadership and the family-like atmosphere that defines the station.
Suggestions for improvement were raised, particularly by students and volunteers who emphasized the need for better equipment to ensure smooth operations. Responding to these concerns, the GM explained that the school management had recently inspected the station’s needs and assured them that the necessary resources would soon be provided. She urged everyone to remain patient and stay committed to the station’s development, especially as Reiz FM marks its second anniversary. She also encouraged other Mass Communication students to join the station in the coming years.
The end-of-year celebration concluded with a renewed call for improved operational efficiency and greater productivity in 2026.
